ATHOX Modular Vibrating Screens are indicated both for final classification (minimum mesh recommended 8 mesh) as for washing process and intermediate classification of materials such as ores, sand, gravel, stone and others.

In modular screen there is better use of the sieving area, since in each section there is a specific job of classification and thanks to the material speed variation, the layer remains more constant.

The use of Modular Multislope screens allows, on average, capacities above 30% compared to constant slope screens in the same size. Modular multi-slope screens can be manufactured in widths 4′, 5′, 6′, 7′, 8′ and 10′, with lengths ranging from 6′ to 36′, in 1, 2, 3 or 4 decks, according to each application (With 1, 2 or 3 modules).

Technical Features:

Transmission between the vibrator and motor made by cardan shaft with reduced movement, have undeniable advantages over transmission by “V” belts, and cardans vibrating together with the screen.

The use of Multislope screens allows, on average, capacities above 25% to 30% compared to constant slope screens in the same size. Multislope screens can be manufactured in widths 4′, 5′, 6′, 7‘ and 8′, with lengths ranging from 6′ to 20′ in monobloc screens, in 1, 2, 3 or 4 decks.

High Frequency Screen

ATHOX High Frequency Screens use high speed vibration between 3,000 and 4,500 rpm, directly to the screen media, allowing greater stratification, classification and separation of the product. Vibration directly induced to the screen media improves efficiency at high production rates compared to conventional screens. Our high frequency screens offer ideal gradation control for fine recovery in dry granulometry applications between 10 and 0.3mm, operating with slope between 30 and 40 degrees.

High frequency screens work with slope between 30 and 40 degrees, have electric motor vibrator mounted on transverse sustaining screens media and these are fixed to the static side of the screen by rubber cushions that isolate vibration to external structure. The screens are supplied with metal structure and electric control panel. The design of the metal structure dispenses the execution of large and complex foundations.

High frequency movement is very important for the classification of various materials in the most varied processes, especially when a finer classification is required. The main feature of this type of drive, as its name implies, is to work with a high frequency and less amplitude than those used in other conventional vibratory movements.

Vibrating Dewatering Screen

ATHOX Dewatering Screens was specially designed for dewatering and desliming fine-grained materials. Its structure and vibrators are specially reinforced to withstand the high layer of material and the dynamic effect caused by agitated water. In mining, its application is common after spiral classifiers for the service of dewatering or recovery of fines after tertiary and quaternary stages of wet sieving.

When extracting natural sand, the “underflow” of cyclones or dewatering wheels removes the water and mud present, making the sand clean and pulpy, ready for loading without spilling water. The dewatering sieves have an upward inclination, usually between 5 and 7 degrees, and the linear movement causes the material to rise to the discharge side in the form of a thick layer that also works as a filter, retaining material smaller than the opening of the screen. Water decants through the layer towards the screen and also flows to the feed side which is of lower level. Vibration forces water to pass through the screen media.

Due to the high layer of material, the use of extra heavy polyurethane screens is recommended, which in addition to superior mechanical resistance to wire screens, has a significantly higher durability. The screen openings are rectangular in width between 0.3 to 0.8 mm depending on the application. To increase the dewatering capacity, screens are also placed on the back cover of the sieve in order to collect the maximum amount of surface water, thus increasing the dewatering capacity and quality.
